The College Intensive program offers rising juniors and seniors (ages 15-18) the opportunity to earn college credit by engaging in challenging undergraduate level courses.Students in this program will earn official GW credit that may be transferable to other institutions, depending on the individual institution policies.In addition to instruction through lectures, students in the College Intensive program spend time outside of the classroom working on projects, research assignments, readings, papers and other assignments. Students also participate in co-curricular site visits, college preparation workshops, personal development and cultural enrichment programs each week, designed to enhance their understanding of and preparation for undergraduate study.
